What you need

cup brown lentils

fl oz water

dash salt

tbsp flour

bunch cilantro
Instructions
1. Mince the onion. 2. Combine the minced onion, brown lentils, and water in a pot. 3. Boil the mixture for about 25-30 minutes until the lentils are soft. 4. Add oil or butter and salt to the soup. 5. Mix a couple of spoons of flour with water and add it to the top of the soup to make it more dense (optional). 6. Mix everything together thoroughly. 7. Cut up some cilantro and sprinkle it on the top of each individual bowl before serving.
