Golubtsi (Stuffed Cabbage)

1. Boil the cabbage until soft, and then separate the leaves.

2. Mix the filling ingredients: matzo meal, ketchup, lemon juice, ground beef, egg, water, and sugar.

3. Place a little bit of filling into each cabbage leaf, and roll up.

4. Mix together the sauce ingredients: sugar, diced onion, raisins, lemon juice, tomato sauce, and salt.

5. Place the sauce into a pot.

6. Place each filled cabbage leaf into the pot, and then add water to the pot to cover the contents.

7. Boil together for 2 hours, on low.
